Our Origin
When launching the practice, our founder, Arden, wanted a name that would be distinctive and meaningful, like her first name—something that signaled purpose rather than convention.
The name Solon was suggested by her mother. Solon, an Athenian philosopher and statesman, is often described as a father of Western law, associated with the principles of integrity, wisdom, and balance.
The name also carries a personal intention. Arden hopes Solon Law will be part of her mother's legacy—an enduring reflection of the values she passed on: intellectual discipline, adaptation, integrity, and pride in one's work.

Arden helps companies navigate complex laws and transactions with confidence. By making sophisticated concepts approachable, she works with her clients to understand the choices they face and make sound business decisions. Her practice focuses on capital raising, secondary markets, securities law compliance, and complex commercial transactions.
Arden is regarded as a top Regulation A attorney with extensive, hands-on experience guiding issuers through Regulation A offerings that are complex, novel, or operationally demanding.
Arden is drawn to matters that require creativity and thoughtful problem-solving. Whether navigating a challenging transaction or developing a novel approach to meet a client's objectives, she brings together deep corporate and securities knowledge with personalized service.
Inspired by the companies she represents, Arden recently founded Solon Law to build a practice that grows alongside her clients and reflects their same values of innovation, agility, and longevity.

Ashley brings over a decade of experience serving as in-house counsel for companies publicly traded on the NYSE, as well as other corporate and securities roles. She assists clients with capital formation, corporate governance, and compliance matters. She also enjoys collaborating to work through complex transactions.
Ashley is a licensed CPA and attorney, allowing her to analyze transactions from multiple perspectives.

Our Regulation A practice is led by Managing Partner, Arden Anderson. Arden's first Regulation A offering was in 2016, shortly after the new regulations were implemented. Her experience spans early Regulation A+ offerings through the market's evolution, drawing on deep corporate and capital markets experience to help shape industry practices. Through years of consistent engagement in the Regulation A market, Arden has developed strong working relationships with industry leaders and SEC staff, providing clients with meaningful insight and credibility throughout the process.
Solon Law seeks to pioneer new ways to leverage Regulation A, including in M&A transactions, PIPEs, Up-C structures, SPACs, and institutional-level transactions. In addition, the firm has substantial experience advising on series offerings and other complex capital formation structures.
Solon Law partners with issuers that view Regulation A as a serious capital markets strategy and want counsel who understand not only how the rules work in theory, but how they operate in practice.
